❓ Common questions and answers
-
Edit this playbook here (be careful, but please feel free to update questions and answers here)
Our mission
-
Our mission is to build structured sober living communities
-
Guests leaving a clinical or judicial setting are often in desperate need of transitional living
-
Most of our guests are referred from clinical treatment, half-way houses, and probation and parole departments
-
Guests typically live in our homes for 6-12 months while they rebuild our lives
-
Guests are capable of living independently, but chose sober living for additional support and guidance.
-
Sober living is not clinical treatment or direct care
The structure
-
We have over ____ homes throughout ___
-
In addition to serving guests, we have an equally important mission to help strengthen local communities where our homes are based
-
Instead of opening a home in ___ ourselves, our mission is locate and equip a local individual or organization to run the home independently with our support, instead of our agency opening and leading the home without local leadership in the community
-
A local Operator will always have better knowledge of the needs of the local community
-
A local Operator will know how best to serve their residents
-
Local Operators and their homes are more successful than homes run by an out-of-town agency
-
-
We've developed a model where we equip members of the local community to operate sober living homes in a unique way
-
Operators own and operate their home, both as a business, as well as a social venture
-
Operators run the day-to-day operations of the home as they see fit
-
We provide up-front and ongoing support and services to Operators
-
We maintain a membership organization in service of our Operators
-
Operators are in business for themselves, but not by themselves
-
The Opportunity
-
We are looking for someone to independently own and operate this location ___
-
If we have a home already, what's the home like?
-
If not, our desired area for opening a home, why we want to, etc.
-
How does this sound to you? Or ask anything similar to this.
(we need to improve this section based on what people are asking - add link to the actual location for this stuff)
